5 Must-haves for the puppy in your life

Keeping your puppy entertained every day can be challenging. As they grow, it’s important to keep them stimulated both mentally and physically. Like many of you, we at Muttropolis have welcomed new puppies into our family and wanted to share some of our mutt-approved items that our pups enjoy (which means we really enjoy them because it gives us a break!)

Hide n’ Slide Interactive Puzzle

Give your little stinker something to really think about. This customizable, interactive puzzle lets you hide treats behind doors, swiveling flippers and sliding blocks. Chris on our team says “My pup Moose will do anything to figure out how to get the treat out. We sit back and laugh at him!” This toy can also help pups who tend to be a little anxious and also helps curb destructive behaviors. Find the right interactive toy here.

Going back to the basics on this one, but without this crate, there’s a good chance our homes would fall victim to puppy teeth. Clayton on our team says: “I love to create a cozy, comfy safeplace for my basset hound puppy where she continuously visits throughout the day, and isn’t upset when the door is closed.” This crate also comes with a divider so it grows with your puppy.

Bixbi Pocket Training Treats

Whether they did what we asked them to do, or it was completely coincidental, we love to reward the good pups. These treats are low calorie and free from grain, wheat, corn and soy (no bad stuff), so you can be as generous as you’d like. We’ve got three flavors to choose from, but why not get all three and make it a surprise each time?

Can you imagine having sore gums and a strong urge to chew on everything? Sounds pretty terrible to us, but it doesn’t have to be for them. These teething rings come in two flavors, chicken and pumpkin, and are sure to be enticing for your curious pooch. They are easily digestible, free from plastic, nylon and rubber, making them a sure win. As always with any chew, it’s best practice to keep an eye on your puppy while they’re chewing.
